Inter-library Loans

Literature that is not available in libraries in Düsseldorf can be requested via inter-library loan. We arrange for such literature to be provided by other libraries in Germany and other countries. You need a valid membership card from the ULB Düsseldorf to request such material.

Important Information

• Requests for inter-library loans are subject to charges (€ 1.50) even if it turns out a book cannot be provided.
• In our experience, some material – especially diploma, master, bachelor, Magister and state examination theses – can only be provided with difficulty or not at all.
• For works consisting of several volumes, a separate request must be made for every volume according to the Leihverkehrsordnung (Loan Transaction Order).
