Alongside Bonn und Münster, the ULB Düsseldorf is one of three State Libraries of North-Rhine Westphalia. A lot of important evidence of our cultural heritage can be found in the special collections of the ULB Düsseldorf – from manuscripts, incunabula and old prints through to major literary estates, among them one of the largest collections of works by and on Thomas Mann.
